Professional and Creative
Presentations
In Cooperation with Peter Flume
 |
The days when
presentations conducted with PowerPoint
were a sensation are long gone. To make
an impact with a presentation today, it
is important that the overall staging
and performance are correct and that
PowerPoint is used effectively and at
the right time alongside other
techniques. This seminar shows you how
to create professional and creative
presentations. |
Objective
The participants are proficient in the basic
techniques of public speaking and presentation. They
are confident giving presentations, are systematic
in planning presentations, and have the courage to
put unconventional ideas into practice. The
participants can wow their audience.
Message
- Presentation preparation: define objectives,
analyze audience, assemble content
- Find the story: form analogies, define the
title, develop the staging
- Staging techniques: station drama,
denouements, the forbidden location, team
presentations, talk-show presentations
- Basics of speaking technique: rhetorical
techniques, emotions, body language, handling of
media and “stage techniques”, presentations with
passion

Stage 3 - Practice
In the third session,
which should be conducted
around 4-6 weeks after the
first session, the
participants use current
corporate, product, or
conceptual presentations to
put unconventional
presentation ideas into
practice. It is therefore
necessary that the
participants bring
up-to-date material along
with them to this session.
The participants glean the
greatest benefit from this
session if they prepare a
presentation situation that
they will have to deal with
in the near future. |

Stage 2 - Unusual ways
of staging presentations
Using theatrical elements
and techniques as a starting
point, the participants
develop ideas for putting
across their messages in
unusual ways. |
|
Stage 1 - Foundation
work
The participants deal
with the basics of public
speaking situations.
Emphasis here is on the
issues of individual
rhetoric, body language and
presence, use of media, and
voice work. |
|
Benefit
This seminar helps participants develop a feeling
for unconventional ways of presenting their messages
and master the necessary tools for putting on
outstanding presentations.
