StoryPower® –
the Power within the Story.
In Cooperation with Peter Flume
 |
Leading
through stories. How can stories be
skillfully integrated into a
presentation? Where do you find stories
that no-one knows? These are the
questions dealt with by this seminar. |
Objective
After the seminar, the participants are in a
position to weave stories skillfully, effectively,
and persuasively into their factual presentations.
The participants have learned to sniff out stories
in everyday life and command the necessary tools of
rhetoric, staging, voice, and presence that “breathe
life” into the stories.
Message
- Staging elements of a
presentation
- Rhetorical stylistic devices
- Body language
- Presence
- Voice
- Use of media
|

Stage 3 - Transfer
By having the participants rehearse
presentations from the first two stages, we
achieve the transfer back to everyday life. We
reach the conclusion that a coffee-house story
can also unfold its meaning in a presentation
about controlling.

Stage 2 - Finding
stories
We leave the seminar room in search of
stories. Together we seek out places that
provide us with material for stories. We
observe, make notes, and exchange ideas with one
another. The excursion ends by transferring the
experiences into the participants’ presentations. |
|
| Stage 1 - Foundation
work We work together
with the participants on
their presentations in the
seminar room. Emphasis here
is on the issues of
individual rhetoric, body
language and presence, use
of media, and voice work. |
